Our Team is now AOAC Gold Certified
Our Practice is AOAC Team Certified! It's no secret that investing in continuing education provides benefits to all of those we serve. We are thrilled that our team has completed voluntary education programs through Trapezio, a knowledge and training solution provider for the orthodontic profession. Our team has successfully completed the requirements necessary for the AOAC Team Certified designation. We are proud of this accomplishment and the individual initiatives to further improve knowledge and technique in the field of orthodontics. The comprehensive curriculum provides a formal platform for testing and learning the latest theory, technique and technologies utilized in the orthodontic industry. It is our commitment to provide the most advanced and modern orthodontic care available.The AOAC Team Certification is proof of that unwavering commitment to our team, patients and the community we proudly serve.

We've had lots of fun giving away some fun prizes for our patients this past week!

Handmade Holidays at the Duluth Art Institute
Carlson Orthodontics is sponsoring Handmade Holidays at the DAI this Saturday, Dec. 3rd from 11am-2pm. This event is FREE and fun for all ages, you can just show up- no registration required. Kids participating in Handmade Holdiays can make unique gifts, cards, and wrapping paper for their loved ones. Even the littlest gift givers can get in on the fun!

Carlson Ortho Team Bowling 2011
The Carlson Ortho team recently had a friendly bowling competition, and a day to have some great team building time!
We have some great bowlers at Carlson Ortho, Sasha and Lisa took home the grand prize trophy for best combined team score. Ashley and Monica took home the trophy for lowest team score but I have a feeling they will be going for the "most improved" title for next years get together!

Congrats to our most recent Certificate of Cleaning winner, Leah Mrozik, from Tomhave Olson Dental! Duluth Harvest Run
Be sure to mark your calendars for Saturday, October 15 for this year's Duluth Harvest Run! As one of the sponsors of the event, we will have several of our staff members out there volunteering, so be sure to say hi as you run by! The event has officially been sold out, but we were able to give away two free entries to our patients. Go runners!

Patient Appreciation Day with the Duluth Huskies 
A huge thank you to everyone who joined us for our third annual patient appreciation day on August 4, 2011. It was a perfect summer evening and we're thankful we could share it with so many of you! Our own Donald L. threw a fantastic first pitch, and we gave away lots of fun prizes. Check back in the spring for an announcement about next year's event!
